Member of the Month January 2021
Starting the year off strong is a major understatement. Her surf lifesaving journey began as a nipper at age 5 down in Wollongong where she was actively involved until around 17. Nicole Craze and her partner Todd absolutely loved nippers as kids and whilst she has been involved at Miami for several seasons, her new membership this season has been beneficial for all. Her voluntary service to our great club has hardly gone unnoticed. Nicole has already taken on the role of Nippers barbecue co-ordinator with flying colours and gained her Surf Rescue Certificate at the end of last year. Although she is kidding about getting in the IRB, she is a step closer and there is always the possibility that it may one day happen. Nicole was instrumental a few weeks ago with her hard work during the clubs first nipper clinic. “There was no plan for food, but [they] ended up with an absolute feast on all days. Nic can always be relied on without even asking for help”. Speaking of the clinic, Nicole would be completely and utterly stoked to watch her kids grow into the fine young men and women who volunteered their time. Now to all you lovebirds out there getting ready to or planning to tie the knot, Nicole is a fantastic marriage celebrant and I am sure she will keep the men honest. Congratulations Nicole, we look forward to your continued involvement in our great surf club!
